
Pop classical and jazz crossover singer Daniel Schi had a magical encounter with actress Bonnie Wright, best known for her role as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films, during their visit to a major entertainment event, FanX, featuring movies, comics, and games in Utah this weekend.
Daniel, dressed in the official Gryffindor robe produced by Warner Bros. Studio during the event, caught Wright’s attention right away. Bonnie complimented Daniel's authentic costume, saying, “I love your costume!” The two quickly struck up a conversation, with Daniel taking the opportunity to praise Bonniet’s performance in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. He remarked how her portrayal of Ginny Weasley in that film left a lasting impression. Bonnie, expressed interest in Daniel’s unique music style after learning about his blend of pop, classical, and jazz. Bonnie told Daniel she was looking forward to listen to Daniel's songs in the future.
Wright also shared details about her latest project during the event, Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, a six-episode show premiering on Food Network on November 14th. The series will feature Wright and fellow Harry Potter stars Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick) and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) as special guests. Hosted by James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley), the show challenges nine teams to create magical baking showpieces inspired by moments from the Harry Potter universe, with baking judges Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef overseeing the competition.
Fans of both Wright and Harry Potter are eagerly awaiting the premiere of the series and have already started speculating about a second season.
